A Song About Her

She is the light in the dark,

She is mad-source of mine,

Where I’ll lean down my heart

She’s like the flowers in the spring,

There’s no reason I have

I long by her charm

I gazed upon the stars

When I tried to realize

That she was there, she was there,

She was there right in front of me

Down from her cheekbones to knees,

                She looks pretty she smiles,

The way she turns me to haze, making me uneasy,

                She attracts the world,

                By her dulcet looked eyes,

She is stopping the world to see her blissful face

Won’t let her lip get a scratch,

To keep her smile stay alive,

To feel the breath of the eve of this beauty night

                Pour my tears to dust

                Turn my dreams to real,

And now I’m getting to let her know

She’s glancing right through me now,

Freezing me into ice,

My eyes won’t even blink

She’s the mascot of grace

She stares through the sky

Even glaring the moon light

Down from her cheekbones to knees,

                She looks pretty she smiles,

The way she turns me to haze, making me uneasy,

                She attracts the world,

                By her dulcet looked eyes,

She is stopping the world to see her blissful face

Won’t let her lip get a scratch,

To keep her smile stay alive,

To feel the breath of the eve of this beauty night

                Pour my tears to dust

                Turn my dreams to real,

And now I’m getting to let her know

Dear Christmas angel, send this letter pass it to her just to let her know,

My humming bird, tweet this to her, tell her that I’m so in love with her

Just to find, whether she’s so in love with me too,

Cause she’s so amazing, she’s the queen of the night

Down from her cheekbones to knees,

                She looks pretty she smiles,

The way she turns me to haze, making me uneasy,

                She attracts the world,

                By her dulcet looked eyes,

She is stopping the world to see her blissful face

Won’t let her lip get a scratch,

To keep her smile stay alive,

To feel the breath of the eve of this beauty night

                Pour my tears to dust

                Turn my dreams to real,

And now I’m getting to let her know

Owl City - Butterfly Wings

If I was a raindrop
Would you be my thunder storm?
It's cold so surround me
With rain clouds to keep me warm

I feel like I'm falling
So darling, don't let me go
The thought is appalling
But should I slip away
Into the stormy sea will you remember me?

Asleep in our warm cocoons
We dream of lovely things
We're both gonna wake up soon
So we hope that tomorrow brings
Us our butterfly wings

If I was a grain of sand
Would you be Miami Beach?
So dusty with starlight
Close your eyes and cuddle close to me

I'll try not to wake you
Or make a sound while you're dozing off
But in the night should the high tide
Sweep me away from you
Tell me again, my dear, will you be waiting here?

Whenever we leave the ground
And take to the sky
I'll smile as I'm gazing down
'Cause I've always wondered why
We won't need feathers to flyo
